Azusa, California, December 20, 2018 – Platinum Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) member – Cardinal Pet Care is utilizing an exciting PSC/Gallup partnership to survey their employees.

Cardinal is looking forward to understanding what employees do or don’t know about sustainability as well as what areas they would be most likely to support, in order to inform a new integrated strategy for the company that incorporates both environmental and social impacts in a way that the entire staff can get behind.   Also, Cardinal seeks insight into general employee satisfaction and engagement in order to understand where they are successfully engaging employees and where there might be opportunity for improvement.

To accomplish these goals, Cardinal is working with PSC to launch a customized survey combining Gallup’s Q12 Index with the PSC employs survey.  The Gallup Q12 Index consists of 12 questions based on more than 30 years of research involving more than 17 million employees.  Analysis of the answers from these 12 questions can be an invaluable tool to predict employee and workgroup performance.  Combined with PSC’s employee survey, PSC members can get in-depth insight on their employee’s strengths and knowledge and also how to meet employees where they are to meet their needs as best they can.

The Gallup/PSC partnership is just one example of PSC’s commitment to provide multiple options for employee surveys that identify and address concerns and knowledge gaps within each company’s unique landscape.  Companies with high employee engagement have twice the customer loyalty than companies with average employee engagement and experience a 50% reduction in employee turnover.
